Rialacha / Rules

In order that all students gain the most benefit possible we ask that they obey the rules set out below.

These rules are further explained on arrival during the induction meeting.

 

• Irish is the language used during the course. Students are not permitted to speak English. Those unwilling to make an effort to speak Irish may have to leave the course.

• Students found entering a licensed premises or having consumed alcohol will be sent home.

• Smoking is forbidden on the course.

• On returning to the guesthouse at night, students must not leave again until they are going to the Coláiste the following morning.

• Waterbased activities are only permitted under the supervision of college staff.

• The principal's permission is required if a student has to leave the course for any reason before its completion.

• Misbehaviour, verbal or physical intimidation, intentional or otherwise will be dealt with accordingly by the college.
